29 Member Leaders Working Toward More Effective
Partnership with County Agencies

MACC's courageously collaborative approach means leaning into the shared challenges our members face. Starting with our 2018 Summit, our members have brought the focus of the network on the critical, but complex relationship between nonprofit organizations and county human services.

MACC members provide crucial services to their communities and often do so in close collaboration and partnership with county agencies. The relationship between nonprofit organizations and county agencies is key to the wellbeing of our communities, but our current system isn’t set up to encourage partnership.

This past year our network
gathered several times to unlock our shared wisdom and creativity - probing for more specifics, for concrete ideas about how our network might collaborate more effectively with our county partners. We synthesized our network’s learning, including some original research into a report shared with the network.

Members are building a shared vision of relationships that work for everyone at the table. These relationships are essential for our members to sustainably provide effective programming, for county agencies to work effectively and efficiently with nonprofit partners, and for us to work together to drive positive outcomes for our communities.

A council of network leaders is developing strategies to propel our work forward through the rest of 2019 and into 2020.
