MACC's Client Data Team Completed 306 Development
Requests for Member Client Databases

MACC's courageously collaborative approach means members have an active voice in our shared services. Over the past year, MACC's Client Data Services team responded to over 300 requests from members for development in the ClientTrack database.

This includes requests for problem fixes, tweaks to existing forms or features, but also requests for brand new features - forms, workflows, and functionality with the potential to improve the way members use the database.

It's unusual to find a database team doing this level of development, but MACC’s collaborative model means continuous development and improvement are part of our team's DNA.

The team fixes the typical kinds of problems that arise with database work, but they're also building new solutions that improve the way members can do their work.

Solutions, for example, like an interactive waitlist solution that helps a member easily track and manage individuals waiting for access to a shelter (without a single spreadsheet!). Or a brand new attendance module that allowed program staff to quickly and easily take attendance during their busy workdays. It also made reporting back to funders that much easier saving staff time and frustration and made it easier to spot and intervene in attendance problems! Or a co-designed, custom walk in process at a food shelf that leveraged multiple new forms and workflows to streamline things for both program staff and clients - making the experience better for everyone!

MACC's Client Data network has worked together to develop an agile and adaptive way to improve the system and work collaboratively to be able to respond to whatever challenges or new opportunities arise.
